Love Boat

Part from being in Copenhagen, we also had a wonderful time aboard the ship, on our anniversary trip this week! So good that we hardly slept the whole trip, we probably had around 8 hours of sleep all together, forth and back.. That's usually what I need for one day, or at least 6-7 hours to feel human. No need to say I was pretty tiered when we got back.. We both were. I was really happy I'd been forthseeing enough, to take the next day off!

These boat trips to Denmark is usually a bit like a human study.. There's so many different people aboard and you meet people you normally wouldn't meet back home. We're all stuck on the same boat, so naturally we end up talking and hanging out in the bar, with who ever is there. This time was no different, with everything from suits to industrial workers, a lubricant salesman, farmers and students.. We were quite an odd gang of people and 5 different nationalities:)

And of course of all places, my husband met a fellow american, who were preforming old country and rock music in the bar! Funny part was that he was from Las vegas, were we got married exactly two years ago:) Coincindence?

Lovely Vintage Finds from Copenhagen

Some beautiful dresses and accessories that I picked up on our trip to Copenhagen.. I was lucky enough to stumble in when they had their sale on Kitsch Bitch! A gem of a vintage store, that lays on Læderstræde 30. A street that runs right along Strøget, the most well known shopping street in the down town area. So it should be really easy to find, even if it's your first time in town.. The store is crammed with all sorts of vintage goodies and I absolutely recommend a visit if you're in town! I know I'll most certainly be back for more treasures, next time I AM in town:)

Charming Cozy Copenhagen

We're back from our wonderful trip to Copenhagen, I don't think I'll ever get tiered of this city! It's so charming and cozy with the old buildings, in the old parts of town, cobbelstones in the streets, canals and lots of old history, and also good food and great beer!! They also have some really nice stores, were you can do some seriously great finds. For the most part, I had to close my eyes and promise myself to save up for a shopping trip in the near future;)

  

Wedding Anniversary

Today it's off to Copenhagen, the capitol of Denmark. To celebrate our two years of marriage on Monday! We're doing a Kate and Leo, hopefully without the shipwreck.. We're taking the boat over and staying a day, before we're heading home again. I have booked table at a cozy, old style lunch restaurant, by the canal. We're aiming for the danish Smørrebrød and their fantastic beer!

It's the first time for my love on a boat this size and also in Copenhagen. As most norwegians, I've been there a few times and also taken the boat plenty of times. We're both excited to get away for a few days, see something new and get some new impressions;)
