The Spooky World of Alexander Jansson

I discovered this wonderful artist over at Boo Spooky some time ago and wanted to share it with you guys!!

Alexander Jansson is a swedish artist who specializes in cover art, illustration, character design, concept art and graphic design. He is situated in Gotenborg, Sweden. Alexander makes some amazing dark art, so sweet and spooky! I love the colors and the cute, awkward looking characters.. Looking at his pictures, it feels like I'm transported to this dreamy, eerie dimension, where the fog always hangs low and the night never ends..

I'd love to stay for a while, maybe it would make a good destination for my next holiday? I wouldn't have to worry about getting a tan and I'd have som interesting looking creatures to hang out with;)

Head over to his site, or find him on Deviantart to see more creepy art, or maybe buy a print or two!

Rebeca Puebla's O So Twisted But Sexy Dolls;)

I came over these images surfing CGSociety and I couldn't help but getting drawn to them and all the great little details of the pictures! I simply love the old, classic pin up style to them:) I can't wait to see her next ones out..!! Rebeca Puebla is an freelance 3D character artist situated in Madrid, Spain.

"These characters are a personal project and is the first two in a serie of cute and sexy dolls called "Twisted Dolls" with a cartoon and realistic style based in the pin up, fetish and sado culture".

"Mistress Lili"

Vavavooooom what a waist;)

I simply love the sexy details of the stockings and the shoes here, and the tattoo peeking through the stockings.. Even a small beauty mark on her leg. A great mix of the realistic and a cartoon character.

"The Butcher's Bride"

Perfect, lil', red shoes

Love the detailed, symbolic tattoos on her body..

Beautifully detailed, classic tattoos..:)

Lovely, Luscious Dark Art from Natalie Shau..

Natalie Shau has created an absolutely wonderful world of sugar coated, dark fairy tale creatures that my sweet thooth just couldn't resist;)  Gorgeous dark pieces, left me with a feeling that can only be described as love by first sight...

"Natalie Shau is an illustrator and photographer from Lithuania, currently living in Greece. Her works are mixture of her photography, digital painting and 3D elements. She enjoys creating surreal and strange creatures, fragile and powerful at the same time. Natalie’s style was influenced a lot by religious imagery, fairytales illustrations and Russian classical literature such as Fyodor Dostoevsky, Nikolai Gogol etc. Natalie Shau constantly keeps working on her own personal artwork and exhibitions, but also enjoys creating illustrations for music bands, fashion designers and writers. Her illustrations for Lydia Courteille jewelry campaign were published in french VOGUE magazine."

Here's some of my favourite pieces for you on the second day of the year, enjoy;)

The Magical World of Benita Winckler..

Surfing the web and various sites for art I'm constantly coming over great work that I'd like to share with you all. Funny enough, maybe not surprisingly most of the artists that I'm attracted to, is the same artists behind pieces that I've found really beautiful in the past, just without knowing who made them.. A bit like treasure hunting, I'm finding the rest of that treasure chest that the jewel that I've admired for years originated from.. My last find is Benita Winckler, a very talented digital artist located in Berlin, Germany. I find myself wandering into her world, sucked in by a magical force.. Her art is mind blowing, mystical and beautiful, perfect down to the tiniest, little detail... I never wanna leave.
