My Closet Skeletons

Those who know me, know I'm a huge sucker for high heels and stilettos.. So this shouldn't come as any surprise! I did a major clean up in my shoe closet the other day. It has been allmost impossible to close the door for a while and I knew I probably had shoes burried in there that I would never use again.. Time to dig'em out and get rid of them, no point keeping stuff I don't use.

Oh boy, did I have shoes! My prescious kept piling up, we were jumping over a growing mountain of shoes.. Luckely my man loves me, because this looked a bit insane. When they were all out of the dark, I counted 41 pairs of high heels! I ended up keeping 32 of them.. 8 of them which I got on my first trip to the US, 7 which I got during the last year and 4 that belonged to my beloved grandmother. With the 13 that's left, I declare myself insane in the moment of action!

I got married in these! My favourite shoes, all worn down.. You can even see my toe prints in the varnish!

Bought in Las Vegas. Used for my domina costume for a play, on our kick off at work.. Office peep!

Belonged to my grandma'! They remind me of my very first pair, which I got from her when I was around 6 years old..

Melamine Heaven

I love the nostalgic feeling of melamine kitchen wear, not to mention the lovely candy colors! I have some proud examples on my kitchen shelf already.. Reproductions, but very pretty:) It doesn't stop me dreaming of a whole vintage set of cups and plates, in a soft robins egg blue or turqouise color..

Believe me, I would be the first one to understand why someone would want an owl of their very own.. But the thought of keeping these beautiful and majestic birds, trapped in little cages for selfish reasons, is just horrible and more cruel than I can put into words! They should be out there, flying free, hunting mice and whatever else an owl does.. Shame on you!! I'll keep my admiration on a distance and leave them to mother nature, where they belong and maybe buy myself an owl item or two;)

My Last & Latest Vintage Finds of The Year

Sharing some of my latest finds from Etsy. As the self declared Etsy junky I am, I can't keep my fingers away;) All the goodies below were haunted down in December, while looking for a christmas present for me love... I did find him some very nice manly items, which were wrapped in with much love and handed over on Christmas eve, which is when we celebrate Christmas in Norway... The rest of the lot has landed on various shelfs for display around the appartment:)

Christmas Pressies from Me to Me

Went a "bit" bananas with the sale on Pinup Girl Clothing last week. With 20% off on their holiday sale, my inner shopping demon took over and my visa went scolding red hot. I pulled home no less than two dresses, one skirt, three pairs of shoes and a few nice stockings to go with it. I also got myself two new tutu skirt, for the knee long dresses at Soho's. Well, waiting for them to arrive in the mail.. *tumbling thumbs* Hopefully it all fits well and look good.. And maybe, maybe if I'm lucky, the package will be here before New Years so I can wiggle out in the final night of the year, wearing one of my devilishly pretty, new dresses;)

Bat Boy Mugs & Female Logic..

This is what happends when I'm bored at work.. I go shopping cute, little, vintage, bat boy mugs and other goodies on Etsy... Which means what ever money I earned on working a few hours more today, went on shopping:) Haha But it was the most awsome little mug! It was love by first sight and I just had to have!! Mmmm and since the international shipping was 10$ for one item, and then 2$ for every additional item, I thought I would "save" some money on buying a few more items... Hhahahah lol I'm sure only women do this and actually find it totally logical in the spur of the moment!

A Witch's Shopping List

After a relaxing day at home, it's time to hit the shops and get what I need for Halloween!Especially for my costume.. I fear that it can take some time to get it together! For now I'm being a little secretive about my costume, as my dear friend, sweet Miss Lindy Lee will be attending our Halloween Party this year. No fun if it's not kept secret.. But I promise to reveal it to you later on;) The shopping list is long and rather peculiar looking.. More like a witch's shopping list, or mad scientist's scribbles. I'm not sure if I'll be able to haunt down all the ingredients for the special night, but hopefully I'll have most of it when I return home....
