Busy lil' Bee

I've been a real busy lil' bee here lately!! I have a week off from work, due to the easter holidays. And a couple of extra days that was needed, to be able to get my creations ready for the shop. I've been working on the gift wrapping and have pretty much ordered most everything I need, just a few small details that I need to work out.

I'm looking at making some stamps for the labels and business cards. And not the least, a tagline I can put underneath my brand name, Devious Darlins'. I think I'm getting close to something. Problem is that I have more than one that I like! Hahah I know, luxury problem.. I'll be showing it to you guys when I got it all together:)

Since last, I've also got myself a .com, .no, a few pointers and registered the company! *Excited* It's hard to think of anything else and ideas is buzzing around in my head from I wake up, till I go to bed.. And the mountain of post-it notes with reminders to myself keeps growing.

Onto Something..

Seems like most of my sparetime these days, revolve around getting my company started. I hate the fact that I can't be as social as I usually am, and already had to say no a few times to friends. But at least it feels like I'm doing something productive and getting somewhere. Not only dreaming about it, which is a wonderful feeling:)

Saturday I was home at Melissa's, from the Ideas To Steal blog. We did some brainstorming around a design for the shop, webpage, logo and everything else that I'll need. A few hours on the computer, coffee, dinner and a bottle of red wine later, resulted in great ideas! Can't wait to share it with you guys!!

I'm so lucky to get some help from her, as she's doing this for a living:) Her goodness will be rewarded with plenty of jewelery!!

Exciting Times

Still struggeling to get well from my cold.. Usually it takes about a week to get it out of the system, but it seems to take a little longer this time. Hopefully I'll be feeling better by the end of this week.. I have too many things going on to be sick! A bit hard to time I guess, but it always seems to come when it's most inconvenient..

Most of the little energy I have left, has gone into working out the details around my internet shops and brand. I've also been ordering some more flowers and jewelery parts, for my summer creations. I got my paws on some lovely items, I can't wait to get them home and get started on it!!

I will be meeting up with my good friend Melissa, from Ideas To Steal next week. She will be helping me with the design of the shops and some details around it, SO looking forward to that:)

Today I'll be heading up to Los Lobos, crossing fingers and toes! Very exciting times indeed.. So, no time to be sick around here!! (Do you hear me, body)?

Sunday Crafting

Part from a beautiful walk in the snow, Sunday was also spent by my work desk. I finally had some time to sit down with my crafts, it's been my bad conscience for a while now.. But with needle and thread and bent over tiny jewelery parts, I was working on my jewelery and hairpieces all evening. I was able to get through quite a bit and it's all starting to take form. Very satisfying to see that my "baby" growing and getting some flesh on my ideas. As I'm working new ideas spring to my mind, it feels good to be using my imagination.. It feel like it's what I'm supposed to do. I mean use the vivid imagination which I was born with and do something creative with it...

Here's a little taste of what I've been working on.. I'm dying to show off my jewelery designs, but I think it's better to keep it a little secret till the shop and everything is getting more ready;)
